Data Deletion

ATHOMIC respects your right to control your data. You can request deletion of all personal data and Meta-platform data we hold about you at any time. We will complete deletion within 30 days of receiving your request, except where retention is required by law (e.g. financial records under Norwegian bookkeeping law).

Option 1 — Disconnect from inside ATHOMIC

If you have an active ATHOMIC account:

  1. Sign in at athomic.no.
  2. Go to Settings → Integrations.
  3. Click Disconnect on the Meta integration. This deletes all stored Meta access tokens and Page/Instagram identifiers within 24 hours.
  4. To delete your entire ATHOMIC account and all associated data, go to Settings → Security → Delete account.

Option 2 — Revoke ATHOMIC from Facebook

You can remove ATHOMIC’s access to your Meta accounts directly from Facebook:

  1. Go to Facebook Business Integrations settings.
  2. Find ATHOMIC in the list of connected business tools.
  3. Click Remove.

When you remove ATHOMIC from Facebook, Meta sends us a deletion signal and we delete all stored Meta-related data (Page access tokens, Instagram user ID, catalog cache, published-post records) within 24 hours.

Option 3 — Email request

If you cannot sign in or want a written record of the request, email us at privacy@athomic.no with the subject line “Data deletion request”. Include:

  • The email address associated with your ATHOMIC account, and/or
  • The Facebook Page name or Instagram username you connected.

We will confirm receipt within 5 business days and complete deletion within 30 days.

What gets deleted

  • Meta Page and Instagram access tokens
  • Page ID, Instagram User ID, Business ID, Catalog ID stored with your store
  • Cached Meta catalog product list
  • Published-post records and their associated metadata
  • Your ATHOMIC account, store records, and product data (if you request full account deletion)

We retain only what is required by law (financial records for 5 years under Norwegian bookkeeping law) and anonymized aggregate statistics that cannot be linked back to you.
